The Holiday Game Bash has been a great tradition that we will be continuing this year! Come join us for an entire day of games, fun, and friends on December 6th! Doors open at 9:00AM and gaming of all kinds will go until midnight!
This year the HGB will continue the same great tabletop, miniature, and RPG events as in previous years. We will also continue the tradition of having the Tour of Games for new game designers to show off their games. Of course, we will also have a ton of great raffle prizes too!!
A full day of game events are scheduled that include board games, roleplaying games, card games, miniature games, historical games, and more! It doesn’t matter if you know how to play the games or not as friendly folks will be there to teach and help with the rules. It’s all about having a fun time with friends new and old! Join us for a couple of hours or join us for the entire day! For just $10.00 / person you can have hours and hours of fun. All proceeds go toward the funding of Social Interaction’s community programs.
WHEN: Saturday, December 6th, 2014. Doors open at 9:00 AM and the party lasts until Midnight (possibly later!)! Tickets are on sale now and limited! This even has been sold out every year, so get your tickets now! Tickets are only $10.00 each and include tickets to our incredible game raffle!!
WHERE: NEW LOCATION!! Because this event is getting larger and larger each year, we had to find a new venue! This year, the event will be held at the Philippine-American Cultural and Civic Center in Parma, Ohio! This is a beautiful facility that has a very inviting and warm feel about it. There is plenty of room in the large ballroom as well as a spacious side room that is perfect for games that need a little more of a quieter atmosphere. We put together a committee of volunteers to evaluate well over a dozen facilities in the Greater Cleveland area, and after evaluating all of the criteria and benefits and drawbacks of each facility, the committee chose this hall. Primary benefits of this hall include: Much more space, better lighting, warmer climate, comfortable tables and chairs, spotless bathrooms, and great parking! The location is directly off of West Ridgewood Road (in between Broadview an State) and is only about 10 minutes from I-480, I-77, and 176! On the downside, this facility does not have food or beverages on site, but being close to the intersection of Rockside and Broadview road, there are plenty of fast food, pizza, and restaurants within a very short drive! Also, you can BYOB and BYOF to the hall if you wish! The Philippine-American Cultural and Civic Center is located at 1975 W. Ridgewood Drive, Parma, Ohio 44134.
EVENTS:There is no extra fee for any of the gaming events, join in on any of the games and have a great time. There will be scheduled events as well as open gaming! We also have a SPECIAL EVENT, our ‘Tour of Games’ which highlights local game designers and publishers!
GAME RAFFLE: All attendees will receive a total of 2 free tickets for our event raffles where nearly $1,000 worth of games will be raffled away! Additional raffle tickets can be purchased at the event! We will be running thr raffles throughout the day to make sure it is a minimum disruption to games that are in process. If you are in the middle of the game, don’t worry about it! Come by later and see if you were a winner!
